Method
 

  1. Step 1: Start by preheating your iron on a low setting. Make sure your workspace is clear and you have all your materials within reach.
  2. Step 2: Using a cheese grater or sharpener, carefully create crayon shavings. Aim for about a quarter cup of shavings.
  3. Step 3: Cut two pieces of wax paper to your desired size for the suncatcher, about 8x10 inches is recommended.
  4. Step 4: Place a generous layer of crayon shavings between the two pieces of wax paper, spread evenly.
  5. Step 5: Cover the wax paper with a piece of parchment paper to protect your iron from melting crayon wax.
