- Step 1: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
- Step 2: Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
- Step 3: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Step 4: Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Step 5: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has beautiful grill marks.
- Step 6: While the chicken is grilling, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the cut potatoes with vegetable oil and season with salt. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet.
- Step 7: Bake the fries in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
- Step 8: Remove the chicken skewers and fries from their cooking surfaces. Serve the chicken skewers alongside the fries on a platter. Enjoy your meal with loved ones!
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat the chicken in the microwave or on the grill to retain its juicy texture. The fries can be reheated in the oven for a crispy finish!
