Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Skewers
  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
For the Fries
  • 2 large potatoes cut into fries
  • Salt

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Step 2: Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
  3. Step 3: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Step 4: Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Step 5: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has beautiful grill marks.
  6. Step 6: While the chicken is grilling, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the cut potatoes with vegetable oil and season with salt. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet.
  7. Step 7: Bake the fries in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

Notes
