For the Sticky Glazed Chicken

For the Fries
  • 4 medium potatoes cut into fries
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for tossing the fries
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to create the glaze.
  3. Step 3: Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour half of the glaze over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Toss cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  5. Step 5: Bake the fries for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.
  6. Step 6: Bake the marinated chicken in the same oven for 25-30 minutes, basting with remaining glaze halfway through.
  7. Step 7: Slice the chicken and serve alongside the fries, drizzling any extra glaze over the top and adding green onions if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
