Method
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined—it should look nice and glossy!
- Step 3: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until smooth. This is where the magic starts to happen!
- Step 4: In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Don’t overmix; we want these brownies to remain fudgy!
- Step 5: Fold in the shredded coconut and mini marshmallows until evenly distributed.
- Step 6: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Step 8: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Step 9: Dust the top with powdered sugar before cutting into squares and serving.
