Ingredients
  

For the Snickerdoodle Cobbler
  • 1 package Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 3 tbsp caramel topping
  • 1 package cinnamon-sugar packet from cookie mix

  • 8x8-inch baking pan
  • Medium-sized mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  2. Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix, softened butter, and egg. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Step 3: Drop spoonfuls of half the cookie dough evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar packet over the dough layer.
  5. Step 5: Spoon the entire can of apple pie filling evenly over the dough and cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Step 6: Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the apple pie filling. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar packet over the top.
  7. Step 7: Drizzle the caramel topping over the entire cobbler.
  8. Step 8: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored tightly covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
