Method
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion; cook until beef is browned and onion is soft. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and chili powder. Set aside when done.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add shrimp with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and paprika. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Avoid overcooking.
- Step 4: Spread tortilla chips evenly on a baking tray or foil-lined pan.
- Step 5: Layer cooked beef and shrimp evenly over the chips. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
- Step 6: Bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden at the edges.
- Step 7: If using queso or nacho cheese sauce, drizzle it over the hot nachos immediately after baking.
- Step 8: Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro for a fresh finish.
- Step 9: Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover beef and shrimp separately in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 2 days. Keep chips separate to avoid sogginess. Reheat beef and shrimp gently in a skillet or microwave before assembling fresh nachos. For a quick snack, reheat assembled nachos in the oven at 350°F for about 5 minutes, but expect less crispiness.
