- Step 4: Shape the pipe cleaners into tree branches and trunks. Dip each shape into the colored sugar solution.
- Step 5: Suspend the coated pipe cleaners in the glass jar using a pencil or stick, ensuring they do not touch the sides or bottom.
- Step 6: Allow the setup to sit undisturbed for several days to let the crystals grow.
- Step 7: Once the crystal formations are complete, gently remove the pipe cleaner trees from the jar.
Notes
To preserve your Rainbow Crystal Tree, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. You can reuse the pipe cleaners by soaking off the crystals in warm water.
