- Step 1: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
- Step 2: Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over it.
- Step 3: Layer half of the sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese.
- Step 4: Spoon half of the pizza sauce over the pepperoni, and then sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Step 5: Top with a second tortilla and press down gently.
- Step 6: Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
- Step 7: Carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is fully melted.
- Step 8: Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing into wedges.
- Step 9: Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make a second quesadilla.
- Step 10: Serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.
Notes
If you have leftovers, allow the quesadillas to cool completely before placing them in an airtight container. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
