  • 1 lb cooked shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes fresh
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Avocado slices
  • Tortilla chips

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, diced tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and cilantro.
  2. Step 2: In a separate bowl, whisk together the lime juice, ketchup, and hot sauce until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Pour the sauce over the shrimp mixture and gently toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
  4. Step 4: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Step 5: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Serve chilled, garnished with avocado slices and accompanied by tortilla chips.

Notes

This shrimp cocktail is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about 2 days.
