Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a skillet, cook your ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Step 3: In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, salsa, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Gently stir the cooked, seasoned meat into the creamy mixture.
  5. Step 5: Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  6. Step 6: Sprinkle the shredded Mexican cheese blend evenly over the top.

Notes
