Ingredients

For the Honey Glazed Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon Fresh or frozen, just thaw if using frozen.
  • 1/4 cup honey Adds a sweet, caramelized flavor.
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce For a touch of savory depth.
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard A zesty kick that balances the sweetness.
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Seasonings
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For cooking the salmon to perfection.
For Serving
  • lemon wedges A bright, zesty finish when serving.
  • fresh parsley chopped, for a pop of color and freshness.

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Small bowl

Method

  1. Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. This will be your delicious glaze!
  2. Step 2: Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. You want it hot enough to give your salmon a nice sear.
  3. Step 3: Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet, skin-side down. You should hear that lovely sizzle!
  4. Step 4: Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then flip the fillets. The skin should be crispy by now.
  5. Step 5: Pour the honey mixture over the salmon and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, basting with the sauce until the salmon is cooked through and beautifully glazed.
  6. Step 6: Remove from heat and serve with lemon wedges and chopped parsley for garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stovetop to avoid drying out the salmon.
