Ingredients

For the Honey Garlic Chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast diced
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
For the Fried Rice

Equipment

  • Large Skillet

Method

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the diced chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Step 3: In the same skillet, add shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until shrimp is pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside with the chicken.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, add sesame oil and mixed vegetables. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  5. Step 5: Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Pour the beaten eggs into the empty side and scramble until fully cooked.
  6. Step 6: Add the cooked rice to the skillet, along with the soy sauce. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  7. Step 7: Return the cooked chicken and shrimp to the skillet. Mix everything together until heated through.
  8. Step 8: Serve the fried rice in bowls, garnished with chopped green onions.
