Method
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the ground steak, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Step 3: Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Step 4: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- Step 5: While the meatballs are baking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion, and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Step 6: Once the meatballs are done, gently add them to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour marinara sauce over the mixture, and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Step 7: Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the meatballs separately for up to 3 months.
