Method
 

  1. Step 1: Cover your work area with old newspaper or a drop cloth to protect it from paint and spills. Gather all materials and keep them within easy reach.
  2. Step 2: Use a black marker or black paint to draw shapes, patterns, or images on the clear plastic or glass plate. Create stars, moons, flowers, leaves, animals, geometric designs, or any pattern you like.
  3. Step 3: Use paintbrushes or sponge applicators to apply a generous layer of glow-in-the-dark paint to your design. Experiment with different colors and avoid applying the paint too thickly.
  4. Step 4: Allow the painted suncatcher to dry completely in a warm, well-lit area according to the paint manufacturer's instructions. Once dry, expose it to bright light to charge the glow.
  5. Step 5: Attach string or fishing line to the top of the suncatcher to create a secure hanging loop.
  6. Step 6: Hang the finished suncatcher in a bright location near a window so it can absorb plenty of light during the day and glow beautifully after sunset.
