Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
  3. Step 3: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, add broccoli and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Step 5: Return the shrimp to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Serve over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding a splash of water or broth to keep it moist.
