Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites
  • 1 lb sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
For the Fries
  • 1 lb frozen fries
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Oven
  • Tongs or Spatula

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven and cook the frozen fries exactly as the package directs until golden and crispy.
  2. Step 2: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Step 3: Add the steak bites to the skillet. Season generously with salt and pepper. Let sear without moving for 4-5 minutes until a caramelized crust forms.
  4. Step 4: Lower heat to low, stir in minced garlic and the remaining butter. Cook for about a minute until garlic is fragrant and butter melts into a silky sauce coating the steak bites.
  5. Step 5: Plate steak bites hot alongside crispy fries. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

For a twist, try swapping sirloin with ribeye or strip steak for more marbling. Use dairy-free butter or olive oil for a dairy-free version. You can also marinate steak bites for 30 minutes before cooking to enhance tenderness. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge up to 3 days.
