Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites
  • 1 lb sirloin steak cut into bite-size cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley optional
For the Crispy Fries
  • 4 large potatoes cut into fries (Russet or Yukon gold)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Oven
  • baking sheet
  • Skillet
  • Tongs or Spatula

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for crispy fries.
  2. Step 2: Toss the potato fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  3. Step 3: Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer to ensure crispiness.
  4. Step 4: Bake fries for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  5. Step 5: While fries bake, heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.
  6. Step 6: Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and minced garlic, and toss the steak bites to coat them in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Step 7: Plate your garlic butter steak bites alongside the crispy fries. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers separately in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat steak bites gently in a skillet with a little butter or oil, and re-crisp fries in the oven or air fryer. Try swapping steak cuts or using sweet potatoes for fries as tasty variations.
