  • 1 cup cooked shrimp chopped
  • 1 cup crab meat shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese melts beautifully and adds gooey goodness.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese brings a lovely sharpness to the mix.
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning a classic seafood seasoning that packs a punch.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped for a pop of freshness and color.
  • to taste salt and pepper essential for enhancing all those wonderful flavors.
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • baking sheet

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it nice and hot.
  2. Step 2: In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the chopped shrimp and crab meat, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Step 4: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and crab mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Step 5: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle on a baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends and leaving the points facing outward.
  6. Step 6: Spoon the shrimp and crab mixture onto the wide ends of the dough.
  7. Step 7: Fold the points of the triangles over the filling and tuck them under the dough to secure everything in place.
  8. Step 8: Brush the dough with the beaten egg for that beautiful golden color.
  9. Step 9: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent ring is golden brown and irresistible.
  10. Step 10: Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy the warm, cheesy goodness!

Notes

To store leftovers, make sure to let the crescent ring cool completely. Then, place it in an airtight container in the fridge. It should stay fresh for about 3 days.
