Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Butter Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 lemon juice fresh
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Step 2: Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Next, add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Step 4: Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  5. Step 5: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the broccoli. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  6. Step 6: Return the shrimp to the skillet, squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, and enjoy your delightful meal!

Notes

This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
