- Step 1: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Step 2: Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 3: Next, add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Step 4: Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
- Step 5: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the broccoli. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Step 6: Return the shrimp to the skillet, squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Step 7: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, and enjoy your delightful meal!
