Method
- Step 1: Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant; be careful not to burn it!
- Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
- Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Step 5: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat it well in the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- Step 6: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley for a lovely finish!
Notes
If you happen to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It should be good for up to 2 days. When reheating, add a splash of cream or water to help restore the sauce's creamy texture.
