Method

  1. Step 1: Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the steaks and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and the remaining butter to the skillet. Baste the steaks with the melted garlic butter. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest. Garnish with chopped parsley.

  4. Step 4: Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  6. Step 6: Plate the creamy Cajun shrimp pasta and top with the garlic butter ribeye. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm in a skillet on low heat, adding a splash of cream or broth to loosen the sauce if needed.
