Method
- Step 1: Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Step 3: Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 4: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Step 5: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, allowing it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 6: Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 7: Toss the cooked linguine in the creamy sauce until well coated.
- Step 8: Slice the chicken and serve it over the creamy Parmesan linguine. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a splash of cream or chicken broth to bring back the sauce's creaminess.
