Method
- Step 1: Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning evenly on both sides.
- Step 2: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil or butter and heat until hot.
- Step 3: Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet. Sear without moving for 4 to 5 minutes until skin is golden and crispy.
- Step 4: Flip salmon. Add honey, soy sauce (or garlic butter), and minced garlic around the salmon in the skillet.
- Step 5: Use a spoon to baste salmon with the glaze. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the fish.
- Step 6: Remove from heat. Sprinkle chopped chives or parsley on top if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Try substituting maple syrup or brown sugar for honey. Use tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free soy sauce alternative. Add a splash of lemon juice or red pepper flakes for extra zing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 2 days.
