Ingredients
  

For the Ham Cheese Croissant Sandwiches
  • 4 large croissants fresh and flaky
  • 8 slices ham any type you love
  • 8 slices cheese Swiss or cheddar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Optional
  • Fresh arugula or spinach
  • Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  3. Step 3: In a small bowl, mix the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise together until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Spread the mustard-mayonnaise mixture evenly on the inside of each croissant half.
  5. Step 5: Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  6. Step 6: Place the top half of the croissant over the fillings.
  7. Step 7: Arrange the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Remove from the oven, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.

Notes

These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
