Easy 3-Ingredient Homemade Strawberry Popsicles

Easy, refreshing homemade strawberry popsicles made with just three simple ingredients. A perfect naturally sweet treat for hot summer days.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Freeze Time 6 minutes
Servings: 8 popsicles
Course: Dessert, Frozen Treat, Snack

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries frozen or fresh
  • 1.5 cups organic unsweetened apple juice
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Popsicle Molds

Method

  1. Step 1: Blend It All Up: Combine strawberries (fresh or frozen), unsweetened apple juice, and maple syrup in a blender. Blend until completely smooth (about 1-2 minutes).
  2. Step 2: Pour into Molds: Carefully pour the mixture into your popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top as they will expand slightly. Insert popsicle sticks.
  3. Step 3: Freeze: Place the filled molds in the freezer for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until completely solid.
  4. Step 4: Release: To release the popsicles, run the mold under warm water for a few seconds until the edges loosen. Carefully pull them out.
  5. Step 5: Store 'em: Once frozen and released, transfer individual popsicles to a freezer-safe bag or airtight container to prevent freezer burn and sticking. Store in the freezer for 1-2 months.

Notes

This recipe is easily customizable. Swap strawberries for other fruits like berries, mango, or peach. Use different liquids like orange juice or coconut water. Adjust sweetness or use alternative sweeteners like agave. For a creamier texture, blend in a little plain yogurt. Always blend until very smooth for the best texture. Be patient with freeze time. The warm water trick is key for easy release. Different molds may vary in freezing time or release method.
