Method
- Grab a mixing bowl and pour in your 1/4 cup of thick liquid soap or body wash.
- Now for the fun customization! If you're using food coloring, liquid watercolors, glitter, or a scent, add them now. Stir everything gently until it’s nicely combined. Imagine the possibilities – a pretty pastel, a shimmery swirl, or a wonderfully fragrant slime!
- Start adding your cornstarch, but do it gradually. Add about one tablespoon at a time. Stir really well after each addition. You'll notice it starting to thicken up.
- Keep adding cornstarch, stirring after each addition, until the mixture begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl. It will start to look less like liquid soap and more like… well, slime dough!
- Once it’s reached that stage, it's time to get your hands in there! Knead the mixture for about a minute. It might feel a bit sticky at first, but keep working it. You're aiming for a soft, dough-like texture that's pleasant to touch and doesn't stick excessively to your hands.
Notes
Store in an airtight container or a sealed zip-top bag. If it starts to feel a bit dry, you can try adding a tiny drop of water or body wash and kneading it again.
