- Step 1: In a bowl, combine the shrimp, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside for a few minutes.
- Step 2: Prepare a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Step 3: Dip each shrimp into the flour, then into the eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Step 4: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded shrimp until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Step 5: Layer a spoonful of cooked jasmine rice, followed by a layer of crispy shrimp, and top with avocado slices.
- Step 6: Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store the shrimp and rice separately. The shrimp can be reheated in a skillet for the best texture.
