  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper for balancing flavors

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Step 2: In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Step 3: Thread a shrimp onto a skewer, followed by a small amount of shredded cheese. Repeat until the skewer is filled.
  4. Step 4: Dip each skewer into the beaten eggs until fully coated.
  5. Step 5: Roll the egg-coated skewer in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Step 6: Carefully place the skewers in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Remove the skewers from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
