- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Step 3: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Step 4: Layer a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
- Step 5: Roll each chicken breast tightly and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
- Step 6: Set up a breading station: Place the flour in one bowl, the beaten eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Step 7: Dredge each chicken roll in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Step 8: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Step 9: Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Step 10: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through.
