Ingredients

For the Creamy Steak Bites Penne
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Large Pot

Method

  1. Step 1: Start by cooking the penne pasta according to the package instructions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain everything and set aside.
  2. Step 2: While your pasta and broccoli are cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Step 3: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Step 4: Next, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts and becomes smooth.
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked penne and broccoli to the skillet, along with the cooked steak. Toss everything together until it's well coated in that creamy Alfredo sauce.
  6. Step 6: Adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. Taste and make it your own!
  7. Step 7: Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for that extra touch.

Notes

This dish is best served fresh, but if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk to loosen the sauce if needed.
