- Step 1: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.

- Step 3: Gradually add the seafood stock, whisking to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Step 4: Add the shrimp and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Step 5: Stir in the crab meat, heavy cream, and Old Bay seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 6: Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Step 7: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, do so gently on the stove over low heat, adding a splash of seafood stock or water if it becomes too thick.
