- Step 1: Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Step 3: Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 4: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 5: Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 6: Gradually mix in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Step 7: Toss the cooked fettuccine into the skillet, combining it well with the shrimp and sauce.
- Step 8: Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days.
