- Step 1: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 2: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Step 4: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 5: Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
To store leftovers, let the shrimp cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container. They can last in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove over low heat to prevent the sauce from separating.
