Ingredients

For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For pan-searing the chicken to golden perfection.
  • 4 cloves garlic minced, adds a lovely aroma and depth of flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream The base for our rich, creamy sauce.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese The key ingredient for that cheesy goodness.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning A blend of herbs that elevates the dish.
  • 8 oz rotini pasta Twisted noodles that grab onto the sauce beautifully.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley For garnish and a pop of color!

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Large Pot

Method

  1. Step 1: Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to your taste.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until it’s cooked through and golden brown. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Step 3: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic. Sauté it for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant, but be careful not to burn it!
  4. Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Step 5: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, cooking until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Step 6: Meanwhile, cook the rotini pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain it and set it aside.
  7. Step 7: Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Add the drained rotini pasta and toss everything together to coat evenly.
  8. Step 8: Serve hot, garnished with the chopped fresh parsley for that extra touch of freshness!

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
