- Step 1: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Step 2: Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Step 3: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp. Cook until pink and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 4: In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and paprika, then season with salt and pepper.
- Step 5: Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- Step 6: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Step 7: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
