For the Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Lemon wedges

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Step 2: Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp. Cook until pink and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and paprika, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Step 5: Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  6. Step 6: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
