- Step 1: Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Step 5: Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if desired.
- Step 6: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Step 7: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove, adding a splash of cream if the sauce thickens too much.
