- Step 1: Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain it and set it aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp turns pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
- Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Step 5: Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp back into the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Step 6: Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave.
