Ingredients

For the Creamy Cajun Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning adds signature kick and warmth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
For the Three Cheese Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream base of the cheese sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese melts into a gooey delight
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese adds sharpness
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese for depth of flavor
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta holds the creamy sauce beautifully
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Large Pot

Method

  1. Step 1: Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: Season the chicken breasts generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Step 3: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and slice into strips.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Step 5: Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and gradually stir in the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Step 6: Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the cheese sauce, stirring to combine and heat through.
  7. Step 7: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a touch of brightness.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it on the stove over low heat, adding a little milk or cream to restore the creamy texture if needed.
