Ingredients
  

For the Lobster Filling
  • 1 lb cooked lobster meat chopped, fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise your favorite brand
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
For Serving
  • 4 units New England-style hot dog buns soft, white buns
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter for toasting the buns
  • Leafy lettuce

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine.
  2. Step 2: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on the outside of each hot dog bun.
  3. Step 3: Place the buns in the skillet and toast until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Step 4: Remove the buns from the skillet and line each with leafy lettuce.
  5. Step 5: Generously fill each bun with the lobster mixture.
  6. Step 6: Serve immediately.
