- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set it aside.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Step 4: Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Step 5: Gradually blend in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Step 6: Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Step 7: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Step 8: Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Step 9: Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store your cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. If you want to keep them longer, you can freeze them for up to 3 months.
