Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt together until creamy.
  4. Step 4: Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Step 5: Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  6. Step 6: Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
