- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt together until creamy.
- Step 4: Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Step 5: Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Step 6: Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Step 7: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Step 9: Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
