- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to smooth out any creases.
- Step 3: Cut the puff pastry into squares, approximately 4x4 inches in size.
- Step 4: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Step 5: Place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Step 6: Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
- Step 7: Brush the tops of the pockets with the beaten egg.
- Step 8: Place the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Step 9: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
