Cheesy Garlic Shrimp Puff Rolls

Ingredients
  

For the Cheesy Garlic Shrimp Filling
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
For the Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
For the Puff Rolls
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets thawed
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Step 3: Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Step 4: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and parsley. Add cooled shrimp and mix until well combined.
  5. Step 5: Roll out puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Cut into squares or rectangles.
  6. Step 6: Place a spoonful of the shrimp and cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square. Fold and seal edges with a fork.
  7. Step 7: Brush tops of rolls with beaten egg.
  8. Step 8: Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Step 9: Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the unbaked rolls.
