Cheesy Garlic Butter Rollups

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices sandwich bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese optional
For the Garlic Butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Flatten each slice of sandwich bread with a rolling pin until thin.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and optional Parmesan cheese evenly over the bottom third of each flattened bread slice.
  4. Carefully roll up each bread slice tightly, starting from the cheese side, to form a log.
  5. In a small bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and salt.
  6. Place the roll-ups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Generously brush them all over with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These are best enjoyed fresh. Leftovers can be stored at room temperature for a day or two, or refrigerated. Reheat in a warm oven or air fryer for best results.
