- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth. Stir in shredded chicken and half of the crumbled bacon.
- Step 3: Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Step 4: Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the chicken and cheese mixture. Scatter the remaining cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and crumbled bacon over the tater tots.
- Step 5: Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the casserole is bubbly.
- Step 6: Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
This casserole reheats well. For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with cooked broccoli or cauliflower. You can also add corn or peas to the chicken mixture for extra vegetables.
