Ingredients
  

For the Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Seafood Boil Bowl
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 ears corn cut into halves
  • 1 lb baby potatoes halved
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Step 2: Add the baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes or until they are tender.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the Cajun seasoning, sliced sausage, corn, and minced garlic. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Add the shrimp and lemon slices to the pot and cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Step 6: Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve in bowls.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can reheat it on the stove or in the microwave, but be careful not to overcook the shrimp again!
