Ingredients

For the Blueberry Yogurt Gummies
  • 1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries mashed or blended
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Blender or mixing bowl
  • Silicone molds (bone, paw, heart shapes)
  • Parchment paper (if not using molds)
  • Baking dish (if not using molds)

Method

  1. Step 1: In a small saucepan over low heat, slowly sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder over the water while stirring constantly until completely dissolved and clear. Remove from heat.
  2. Step 2: In a blender or mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, mashed blueberries, and honey (if using). Blend or stir until smooth and uniformly colored.
  3. Step 3: Slowly pour the dissolved gelatin mixture into the blueberry-yogurt blend, stirring continuously as you pour to ensure even distribution.
  4. Step 4: Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds or a shallow, parchment-lined baking dish.
  5. Step 5: Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, or until firm to the touch.
  6. Step 6: Gently pop the gummies out of their molds or cut the set mixture into bite-sized pieces. Serve to your dog!

Notes

Store the gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze them for 1-2 months.
