- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Step 3: In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Step 4: Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just incorporated.
- Step 6: Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
- Step 7: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat.
- Step 8: Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Step 9: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are crinkled.
- Step 10: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
