Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef can substitute turkey or sausage
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 jar marinara or meat sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning or substitute with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp butter tossed with pasta
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Skillet
  • Baking Dish

Method

  1. Step 1: Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until just al dente. Drain and toss with butter to prevent sticking and add richness.
  2. Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. Step 3: Add diced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Stir in Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar. Mix well to combine flavors.
  5. Step 5: Pour in marinara or meat sauce and let simmer gently for about 10 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Step 6: Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat noodles evenly with sauce.
  7. Step 7: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  8. Step 8: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, until cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden at the edges.
  9. Step 9: Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your comforting, cheesy baked spaghetti!

Notes

Feel free to customize with different meats, veggies like mushrooms or spinach, or cheese variations. For a crispy top, broil the last 2-3 minutes of baking. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze unbaked for up to 2 months.
