  • sesame seeds optional, for topping
  • dill pickle slices for serving
  • ketchup and mustard for serving

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  5. Step 5: Spoon beef mixture into center of each biscuit circle.
  6. Step 6: Pull edges of dough up and pinch tightly to seal each bomb completely.
  7. Step 7: Place bombs seam side down on baking sheet. Optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Step 8: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Step 9: Let cool slightly before serving with dill pickle slices, ketchup, and mustard.

Notes

These bombs can be assembled ahead and refrigerated for a few hours before baking; add a few extra minutes if baking chilled. Freeze unbaked bombs on a tray, then store in a freezer bag for longer storage—bake from frozen adding a few extra minutes. Try swapping cheddar for other cheeses or add veggies like onions or bell peppers for variety.
